# FY26 Q4 Data Submission Deadline Set

Federal agencies must submit their fourth-quarter fiscal year 2026 FOIA data by Friday, October 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. EST. The U.S. Department of Justice has announced the deadline for agencies to upload their Freedom of Information Act compliance statistics through FOIA.gov.

Agencies unable to meet the October 30th deadline should notify the Department of Justice's Office of Information Policy at DOJ.OIP.FOIA@usdoj.gov. The submission requirement applies to all federal agencies responsible for tracking and reporting FOIA request data. The deadline was updated as of September 30, 2025.
