# FY26 Q3 Data Submission Deadline Set for July 31
Federal agencies must submit their third quarter fiscal year 2026 data to FOIA.gov by Friday, July 31, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. EST. The deadline applies to all agencies required to report Freedom of Information Act compliance metrics.
Agencies unable to meet the July 31 deadline should contact the Department of Justice Office of Information Policy at DOJ.OIP.FOIA@usdoj.gov. The submission process occurs virtually through the FOIA.gov portal. The deadline was last updated on September 30, 2025.
